Queensland’s Training Ombudsman, Peter Ruhanen visited the 4th Intake of our Trade Outcome Program (TOP) at Bracken Ridge TAFE and talked to students about their training and prospects for apprenticeships. 

The culmination of a lot of hard work and ingenuity by our Construction Team joined by other staff members in late January saw the essential completion of the “Fitz Blitz” facility.

 

East Coast Apprenticeships and BIGA Ltd have entered into an alliance to strengthen the building and construction industry in Queensland.   This alliance will seek to synergize the individual strengths of East Coast Apprenticeships with their Group Training and BIGA Ltd with their Registered Training Organisation. 

What a night to remember, this years Awards Night celebrated the “best of the best”. Every finalist was a winner on the night. None more proud of their achievement than James Tansey who took out the coveted Rohan Clark Memorial Award—Apprentice of the Year 2009.

In late July, East Coast Apprenticeships’ plumbing apprentice, Andrew Hanifin from Bald Hills won the North Brisbane Region Apprentice of the Year Award.
